What Foodius does
Foodius helps you understand what you eat. It combines trusted nutrition databases (over 70,000 products) with modern AI analysis and rates meals against your personal profile — your goals, preferences, and allergies. It’s your everyday guide to healthier choices.
How to read our values
Where we know exact data from a database or label, we use it. For meals from a photo we work with an informed estimate of portion and composition — like an experienced nutrition advisor looking at the plate. Foodius complements but does not replace advice from a doctor or dietitian. If you have a serious allergy, always double-check the ingredients on the packaging — manufacturers occasionally change recipes.
Account and use
The app is intended for people aged 13 and over. Personalization is based on the data in your profile — the more accurate it is, the better Foodius can advise you. We only ask for fair use: don’t disrupt the app’s operation and respect other users’ data.
Subscription
Foodius works on a subscription basis billed through the Apple App Store, with a trial period to try the app. The subscription renews automatically and can be cancelled at any time in your Apple account settings (at least 24 hours before the end of the current period).
Food data
Product information is sourced in part from the open Open Food Facts database (Open Database License) and continuously expanded and refined. You help with this too: when you scan the label of a product we don’t yet know, the transcribed values (not the photos) enrich the database for everyone. Thank you!
Liability
We do our utmost for the accuracy and reliability of the app. However, nutrition ratings are always advisory — final dietary decisions are yours, or your doctor’s. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from relying solely on the app’s estimates.
